The Florida Panhandle to the Pacific Northwest
Roots along the Gulf, a home in the evergreens
Brother Taylor is a singer-songwriter raised in the Florida Panhandle, now based in the Pacific Northwest. Gulf Coast warmth and the quiet of the evergreens both find their way into the songs.
Rooted in acoustic folk, his writing leans on fingerpicked guitar and plainspoken lyrics about home, distance, and finding your footing somewhere new.

Songwriting
Fingerpicked folk, sharper rhythms, and what connects them
Some songs start with a guitar in my hands, one line at a time, until the story settles. Others need a different sound entirely, a harder drum pattern and a voice pushed toward rhythm.
The folk ballads and the experimental pop and rap come from the same place. The writing stays plainspoken and honest, and only the textures and tempo change from one project to the next.
